Labtopia –
I’ve had a lot of really expensive earbuds. I’ve had $250 Sony’s, Beats and Jabra’s which sounded ok and had noise canceling and a control app. They were like I said ok, not great. The sound was always just barely not loud enough, weak & thin bass, only the Rt earbud would work by itself, and of course losing either one of the buds or the charging case, thus becoming trash.
I found these and saw the price against the features and said, No Way these could be Great at $49- I was totally wrong! These buds have an app to control the advanced features that in my opinion are hands down above those expensive buds. It has 3 modes of passthrough, normal (noise canceling off), and adaptive NC. They all work well for the environment, but they also have a feature that (like the expensive buds) gives you an ear frequency test that then builds a special EQ optimization that compensates for frequencies you can only hear faintly to give the best overall sound. You can also use other soundscape EQ settings instead if you want.
These are the best sounding buds I have ever had, they rival my $450 Mackie In-ear Studio Monitors for richness and FULL BASS. They are LOUD too without clipping or splatting, too loud to listen to really, but if you need that extra 5-10db, it’s there!
Long review short – Superior to $250+ Sony and Jabra in sound and signal processing. LONG battery life, great app, and hands down the best bluetooth earbuds I’ve ever tried. Oh, also the only earbuds I’ve not had to struggle to pluck them out of the case like the others. They do have a plastic casing, not the cast metal of the high dollar buds, but that makes them LIGHTWEIGHT and can be in for long periods of time without pinch points.
BUY THEM, your ears will thank you for it!
