LAB 601 provided a project rate to meet John’s budget and an offline and online solution to expedite workflow. John found it more cost-effective to bring in his own offline editors to work at the LAB (housing them in Atlanta and getting an amazing deal on the offline rental) than editing in NY or LA. The film was colour corrected and given effects in the AVID DS by the LAB’s senior creative editor and consultant, Dave Ballard. Grammy nominated engineer Blake Eisenman executed sound design.
